2. Booking and Payment
To book a skip, customers must provide accurate information regarding the type and size of skip required, as well as the delivery location. All bookings are subject to availability.
2.1 Payment Terms
Payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
2.2 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will incur no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a fee equivalent to 50% of the booking cost.
3. Delivery and Collection
Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location and collect it upon completion. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery area is accessible and free from obstructions.
3.1 Access Requirements
The delivery vehicle requires sufficient space to place the skip safely. Customers must ensure that access points are clear and that parking regulations are adhered to.
4. Usage Guidelines
Customers must use the skip solely for waste disposal purposes. The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous materials
- Medical waste
- Electrical appliances
- Tyres and batteries
Improper use may result in additional charges or legal action.
4.1 Load Capacity
Each skip comes with a maximum load capacity. Exceeding this limit may incur extra fees and pose safety risks.
5. Liability
Blackwall Skip Hire is not liable for any damages to property or injury resulting from the use of our skips, except where caused by our negligence.
5.1 Insurance
Customers are advised to insure their property against potential damages during the skip placement and collection.
6. Waste Disposal
All waste collected in the skips will be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the waste is sorted appropriately.
6.1 Recycling Policies
We encourage recycling and will separate recyclable materials where possible. Additional fees may apply for contamination or improper sorting.
7. Duration of Hire
Each skip hire agreement specifies the rental period. Extensions must be requested prior to the end of the initial period and are subject to availability and additional charges.
7.1 Overdue Skips
Failure to return the skip by the agreed-upon date may result in overdue fees and potential removal at the customer's expense.
8. Termination
Blackwall Skip Hire reserves the right to terminate the service agreement if the terms and conditions are breached by the customer.
8.1 Grounds for Termination
Grounds include but are not limited to non-payment, misuse of the skip, and violation of local waste disposal laws.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Blackwall Skip Hire operates.
9.1 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the service will be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be taken to the appropriate legal authorities.
